    No matter what I do, I usually scan a sketch on paper, and color that, always creating an outline layer and coloring under it. I used to try to shade more realistically, but recently I've been experimenting with cel-shading. Which is a disaster. I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and Photoshop 7. They're outdated by now, but it's what I have, and I'm too lazy to hunt down pirated programs and too cheap to buy legal ones. I really really want Corel Open Canvis. I have some Corel art programs right now, but they're very primitive. They don't even enable layers. I will buy OC, it's just a matter of getting $200 in meh wallet and getting a ride to some store that sells it.

    Hm... I think I've heard of Maya and 3D Studio Max before. Also for 3D-rendering, you may or may not wanna try this program called Gimp (or "The Gimp" or something like that). I think a lot of Linux users use it, but I think it can be used on Windows as well. If you're interested, I can probably dig up a link for you.

    Thanks for looking into the sensitivity thing. And usually there's no real "way" into the CG field. Just find a good art program, study other CG artists' techniques if you're unsure, and jump in. That's what I did ^^;

    I'll look into the pressure sesitivity issue. What kind of CG work do you do, and what program(Maya, 3DSM etc.)? I'm using Maya, but I'm looking into 3D Studio Max as well. I'm always looking for ways into the CG field. I'm currently working on an illustration in Photoshop of Miroku from InuYasha; My first attempt with the tablet :fear:

    Thanks! :D Actually, I haven't been using the stylus much at all. I couldn't figure out how to deactivate the pressure sensitivity in photoshop, and it pissed me off, so I gave up on using it temporarily. Besides, most of the CG works I've done since I got the tablet, I did at work. But I use the tablet mouse as my normal mouse.

    Hm... he told you I got a Graphire3? :O_o: Maybe I told him wrong. I have an Intuos2 also. It's just significantly smaller than yours, which Jason has told me allll about. -_-;;;; Thank God he didn't get one. Then that would be ALL I heard about. :XD:

    Hope to see your work soon. Like I said, just Note me or something if you need help. I'm lingering around DA most of the time. Unless I'm lingering elsewhere. >_>

    Right now I'm working my way to becoming a 3D Artist for a gaming company, I'm taking several classes at a community college.

    I love anime, video games, all 3D art, figure illustration, sketchbooking, drafting, doing MODs, and being creative any way I can.
